Ask CYOO is my advice column for paid subscribers to help you move forward in your art practice. Have a question of your own? Submit it here.

Dear CYOO,

How do you get past the spiral of perfectionism when you're creating something? In my head, there's a voice that keeps saying that it makes more sense to wait to implement my exciting ideas because I'll know more in a few weeks, or be in a better place in a few months after learning more.

How do you just DO THE THING and feel okay with the fact that tomorrow, when you revisit it, you may have wanted to do things differently?
