Hi Carolyn! It's Janice Baker from Tieton, Wa. I wanted to let you know that I just published my July newsletter on Substack and mentioned you at the bottom. I was hoping you could read about the event and what we are doing. Still using your zine as a "prize". sooooo many thanks. I will send you some photos from the event. Here is a link to my writing about it all. https://open.substack.com/pub/janicebaker/p/can-we-muster-energy-for-the-arts?r=ae5f5&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true

I've been thinking forever of opening a store for my artwork, t-shirt designs, chapbooks, kids stories, travel guides, and illustrated narratives. And have so-far produced exactly zero. Nor have I sifted through the Etsy-like options. How did you pick your e-tail outlet, and set up your store, and what did you learn from it? I'm all ears. Would you like to buy one of my ears, in fact?

I use Bigcartel at the moment and would recommend it to begin since it's free to set up with <5 products and they don't charge separate fees!
