I really like the idea of building up a body of work over time (with closely connected themes or not) and then presenting that work as a series. As an object. Thanks for sharing!

Most excellent synchronicity. It just dawned me in yoga class (said the w*nky artist…) that this is the way forward with a writing project. Thank you for bringing this timely bit of resource to my life/practice.

It is a gathering of threads, stories, fragments, earth pigment, map, emotions following the sudden and shocking loss of a close friend. A story and process that needs material ground and a tangible, handheld thing. A home. Something has eased in my psyche and body since joining the dots with this last Friday. It has a place to unfurl into. It is such loud hum in all of my creative practice and life, which I hadn’t really realised I had been carrying quite so intensely. The stories that need telling, but in ways that are supportive and slow.

Wow, thanks for sharing this great resource! I've been interested in bookmaking and wanting to learning more about it/try it out but didn't know where to start. I'd like to make my own chapbook later this year, so I'm sure this will be super helpful. :)

I always enjoy reading about your art adventures and the reflections you take from them. I also didn't know about academic art markets--it's cool to know that there are places where art can be valued in different ways!
