ooh thanks so much for this post! i LOVE the tonal variations you’re getting with this ink. i might just have to go buy it! I shared some of my recent ink purchases here: https://open.substack.com/pub/rajkaur/p/glorious-blues-and-a-stunning-peach?r=1mzb9a&utm_medium=ios&utm_campaign=post

Im in danger of buying too many inks - but they are just so delicious and so versatile! officially hooked!

Very cool Raj, thanks for sharing! That Noodlers in peach looks SO dreamy, I am so tempted…

I am OBSESSED with the peach!! It's almost neon!

Love that ink. I’ll have to try it. I have a bottle of Noodlers and I’ve found that it’s in the thin side. My pens tend to leak. Anyone else experience this?

Carolyn Yoo's avatar

Ooh I haven’t tried the Noodlers but my fountain pen used to leak a tiny bit with the default ink it came with! Haven’t had the issue with the Lennon Toolbar 🤞

Absolutely love a nib pen and I need to feed my obsession! Thanks for the recs!

Honored and always willing to feed pen obsessions 😜

Gorgeous grey! I have too many inks at the moment, but will have to keep it in mind.

Btw have you seen Ashlyn Asantees substack series on fountain pens? It's awesome.

Oooh what a wonderful post! Never thought to use BLEACH as a contrast, how exciting!

Yeah, it's an awesome 4 part series. It totally kickstarted my current kick with pen and ink sketching.

Ooh I’m gonna go get this ink!!! I’ve been looking for another water resistant ink to try out! I’ve been using the platinum carbon but it takes a while to dry and it’s super duper black and thick

Yesss can't wait for you to try it! Pouring more money into our beloved Yoseka store!

I also love thicker lines that you get with ink. I have never tried this ink though, will keep my eye for it, thanks for sharing.

Lovely! Do you think the kakimori nib is worth the hype and elevated price tag?

Ooh great question! It’s a really fun pen to try, but don’t think it’s a must have necessarily. Definitely my favorite dip pen I’ve used though!
