Last year, I said I would not buy any new art supplies and use what I had. I lasted 6 months. But this year, I will not buy any more art supplies, and I will finish all the classes I have purchased. We will see. Happy New Year!
Thanks for sharing amazing tips and I loved this format so much! 🩷 your work inspires me to keep discovery myself through art. I would like to know which app do you use for sketch journal?
I love drawing on location, so I naturally fall into a winter slump. Reframing winter into "drawing from imagination season" makes the chilly chunk of the year way more bearable.
Love the seasonal approach! I’ve been deep in “hibernation” mode after having my second baby but I’m ready to use this framework to plan out the new year of making things. Thank you for always sharing some great insights and tips!
Love the constraints you have given yourself. And thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much! Do you use constraints in your own art practice?

The seasonal format is exactly what I need in my 2025. I'm excited to become a paid subscriber!
Ahhhh amazing Chrissy, so happy to have you onboard! Excited to draw and write and make zines together!

Thanks Camila, that means so much! If you mean the images here, I made them on Procreate.
Yay!!! I also love this format 👏
+1 to rules breeding creativity!
Thanks so much Zoe! Rules...can't live with em, can't live without em 😂
This advice is all spot-on (and all things I still struggle with after over 15 years working as a creative).
They're lifelong lessons for sure! Gonna learn them over and over again. Thanks for sharing K!
I love this! For so many reasons. Thank you for sharing your insights.
3000 congratulations!
The seasons idea is so important for me.
